Partner of the Month
Each month the Co-op chooses a local non-profit organization as its Partner of the Month. Donations collected at the store checkout counters will be presented to the partner at month's end.
The Lancaster Humane Society is our September Partner of the Month and will receive all donations collected in the checkout canisters through September. The Lancaster Humane Society (LHS) was founded in 1984 and serves the communities of Grafton and Coos counties. As a no-kill shelter, LHS provides medical treatment and training to rescued animals and education to people considering surrendering their pets. LHS also investigates complaints of animal abuse and neglect, helps locate missing pets, and facilitates adoption of rescued animals.
